About Merideth
Merideth Johnson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
Practicing since 2011, she has seven years experience in community mental health, working the past four years in a school-based health center providing individual and family services as well as training in behavioral health.

Her work
Her passion is trauma-informed care. She believes it is important to understand different types of trauma and how trauma or scary and upsetting events impact people physically, emotionally, and mentally.

to behavior problems. She implements different techniques, which are used to help children decrease anxiety, cope with grief or trauma, manage symptoms related to depression, and develop positive forms of expression.

She is also passionate about seeking organic alternatives to medication management, especially in children, and understanding the benefits of utilizing nutrition to manage symptoms related to ADHD, anxiety, and depression.
